Rev. McCain posted a sneak preview of the upcoming Lutheran Study Bible, which replaces the long-standing Concordia Self-Study Bible. As you may know, the Synod publications have been gradually moving to the ESV Bible translation. Rather than merely transpose the notes from the previous work, this new study Bible has been commissioned from scratch. From the four pages he provided, I am impressed. It is a dense resource and rich in citation. Go to his blog for more information: Cyberbrethren: A Lutheran Blog: Sneak Pre-Preview of The Lutheran Study Bible
