Coffee time…

StarbucksI’m ashamed. I was desperate. I know, that’s a lame excuse! I couldn’t get over to the local roaster Old Crown Coffee Roasters so I went to Scott’s grocery and picked up a bag of Starbucks French Roast beans. EEeek! What was I thinking?!?1?!

Turns out, they make a real good cup of coffee and definitely preferred over the Sumatra blend I usually get at Old Crown. Disgusting, I know!

Odd thing is that I received a coupon yesterday for $20 off $30 of coffee from Starbucks in my news reader. So now I have $36 worth of Starbucks® Anniversary Blend and Arabian Mocha Sanani on the way.

Go ahead. Say it. SELLOUT.

(back to writing an Exegetical Paper and sermon!… hence the need for some caffeine.)

I’m surprised it has taken you so long. I thought you would have seen the light when you came and visited the Downtown Starbucks. But then again, sometimes people have hardened hearts the first time through.

I’m just saying they don’t make a bad cup when you brew it yourself with a french press and the right temperature. Now I’m never happy when I get it from my local barista. I don’t know if those guys are just poorly trained or ignorant!

    (Just kidding!)

We have never had a cup of Starbucks coffee. So feel we should not comment on it’s goodness or badness. We make coffee in our little 4-cup coffee maker every morning and it with a cookie makes our morning blahs go away. Love you
