Well folks, I thought it was due time for an update. There is a bit of a problem. I have finals next week.
It wouldn’t be so bad except we all got the cold bug. Perhaps the lack of sleep during the labor or contact with too many people caused it. Regardless we’ve all felt pretty crummy. It does put quite the damper on getting anything done. Today I am feeling a bit better but will hit the sack early to try to compensate.
Thankfully there is some leniancy from my professors to catch up. This weekend will be nightmarish.
The picture is Great-grandma Gillespie. She came for a visit today. She was able to help hold down the fort while I went off to class. Anne is going to tackle a couple hours tomorrow solo. Keep her in your prayers. The kids with colds have been royal terrors (and then angels. Go figure!)
Midwife Linda came today for a checkup. Luke is 8 lbs 11oz. now. That is nearly a pound of gain. He’s growing!
Off to do everything to avoid the important…
