internetmonk’s hypothesis or experiment is nearly identical to an exercise we had on Dr. Masaki’s Dogmatics I final. His questions was “What sort of Jesus do we confess when we confess the Doctrine of the ________?”
Some of the hot button topics of homosexuality, predestination, and such really take on new meaning when you phrase in context of the perfect man, Jesus. What does his ministry (not just sayings) teach us about any of these doctrines?
Phrasing our doctrines in light of the man Jesus might change your opinion and understanding of these doctrines.
